Hi, I’m Karine Tovmassian.

I am a Chopra-certified Meditation and Ayurveda Educator. The Ayurvedic is the medium through which we can all find our way back to a state of wholesomeness, joy, and health.

The Ayurvedic’s Mission: Self-Care, simplified.

Services include:

  • Meditation Instruction + Practice

  • Ayurveda Instruction + Practice

  • Pranayama Instruction + Practice

  • Total Wellness Coaching (Summer 2024)

The Ayurvedic provides bespoke classes and education to human beings on learning how to care for our bodies, minds, and souls. Classes are provided in 1:1 or group settings.

I help humans learn how to meditate, care for their bodies, practice daily wellness, identify self-care routines, deal with unresolved emotional traumas, and learn to use their existing skills and experience to make their own lives excel. I have been working with human beings for over 19 years, succeeding at helping those in law enforcement and the military learn to adapt to an ever-changing world. Having worked in counter-terrorism, I am also well-versed in putting language to trauma.

What I do not provide:

  • I do not provide medical assistance, advice, or care (but I do work with a doctor who does and can refer you).

  • I do not provide behavioral or mental health therapy (but I work with a trauma therapist and can refer you).

  • I do not provide massage (but I work with a masseuse and can refer you).

Everything I do, teach, and expect my clients to practice is 100% backed by peer-reviewed medical studies and backed by good, old science. I can and often do provide these studies as part of the curriculum. Your questions are always welcome and if I cannot provide the answer, I can refer you to someone who will.

The Ayurvedic’s Thoughtlets + philosophy

Meditation is not a way of making your mind quiet. It’s a way of entering into the quiet that’s already there – buried under the 50,000 thoughts the average person thinks every day.
— Deepak Chopra
Prayer is when you are talking to God. Meditation is when God is talking to you.
— The Ayurvedic
The meaning of life is finding your gift.
Your purpose is to give it away.
